Calling All Bitcoin Builders and Founders!

We’re really excited to share a new opportunity for all of the Bitcoin builders out there: CypherTank! The first Bitcoin-focused pitch competition of its kind is coming to Lugano during the Plan ₿ Forum. Using a “Shark Tank” style format, this event will be recorded and edited into full fledged TV show episodes!

Applications are open now - you can submit one here. We’re calling on the entire Bitcoin community to spread the word. If you know a builder, founder, or non-profit pushing Bitcoin forward, please encourage them to apply. CypherTank is where the next wave of Bitcoin innovation will be uncovered.

Eleven standout projects (8 for-profit + 3 nonprofit) will be invited to showcase breakthrough ideas across on-chain Bitcoin tech, Lightning, peer-to-peer innovation, emerging markets, human rights, science, and the Lugano Bitcoin-Citadel.

Backed by the Plan ₿ Network and the Plan ₿ VC Fund, finalists will compete for over $850,000+ in investments, grants, and acceleration support, while pitching directly to world-class Bitcoin investors and builders. Filmed in Lugano and distributed globally at the end of 2025, CypherTank will spotlight the next wave of Bitcoin pioneers.

The judging panel features some of the most respected names in Bitcoin: Adam Back (Blockstream), Matt Odell (Ten31, OpenSats), Paolo Ardoino (Tether), Preston Pysh (Ego Death), Mike Jarmuz (Lightning Ventures), Oleg Mikhalsky (Fulgur Ventures), and many more still to be announced.

Filming will take place in Lugano with the Semifinals on October 22 and the Finals on October 27, during the week of Plan B Forum (Oct 24–25). Edited episodes will be released across YouTube, Rumble, and X by the end of 2025.
